I found this meme, well its more like a quiz, at Jane Austen's World. I won't be tagging anyone, but feel free to copy and paste into your own blog if you want to.
“The Big Read reckons that the average adult has only read 6 of the top 100 books on the list.
1) Look at the list and bold those you have read.
2) Italicize those you intend to read.
3) Underline (pink) the books you love.
4) Strike out (*) the books you have no intention of ever reading, or were forced to read at school and hated"

The 'Master and Commander' series - Patrick O'Brian
Coming Home - Rosamunde Pilcher
Love in a Cold Climate and sequels - Nancy Mitford
actually there are so many more which should be in the list, one day I might have some serious time to kill and I'll write my own top 100.

I'm tickled to see that the Enid Blyton Faraway tree books are on the list!
Wow, isn't it kind of depressing that they reckon the average adult has only read 6 of these (especially given the fact that Winnie the Pooh and Alice in Wonderland are on the list)? Congratulations on your 29!
What about the Brother Karamazov? Or any Haruki Murakami, Milan Kundera, David Sedaris? And what is the Da Vinci code doing there? Ah well, nice job at 29. And thank you for your sympathy for my lost sock:)
Fabulous. I'm glad you played along.
Yeah, Brother Karamazov should be on as well. I've just played right now and came up with 27. Some of the books on this list really surprised me. But it was a fun thing to do. And the books you've read do say a lot about you. ;-)
Holy crap, I've read 52 of these!!! This is actually a pretty good list... I like the fact that some really groundbreaking newer stuff is there (The Curious Incident of the Dog at Night Time is really sweet and touching and funny, by the way, and you can read it in an evening or two). I also agree with you about the Master and Commander series... I LOVE these!
I am so happy to find someone else obsessed with patrick o'brian. I love Aubrey and Maturin.
Awesome list! I was surfing for a decent, real, uncommercial list and yours looks very, very good. Jump to No. 60 as soon as possible. Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez is just the most enchanting book of all time. GGM books are constantly installed on my bedside.
