    To stray away from the woolly blogworld, I'd like to recommend Gertie's New Blog for Better Sewing (http://www.blogforbettersewing.com/). She's recreating a 1952 wardrobe (with modern twists) and her blog is knowledgeable and inspiring. (And she updates very regularly which is a habit I aspire to myself but....)
